These photographs were taken by William Hulme (father of Judy Hulme Beuchert) who was employed by Appalachian Power Company at the time. He took the pictures from the Courthouse lawn and the steps leading down to Wyoming Street. Included are views of the Bank building, Citizens Drugstore and the Silver Grill on Wyoming Street.

Note the different times on the clock at the bank - yes, we realize these pictures are not in order. Check out the street pavement.
We may have misidentified
the Big Creek, Gary and Iaeger High School bands. If you can shed
more light on the correct identity of the bands in the pictures, please
let us know.
